A crochet workshop for beginners with an environmentally-friendly twist! Led by Maïté Allwood from Knotty But Nice, on this half-day course you will crochet your own scrubbies and soap mitt with undyed Nutscene twine.
We all want to be kind to the environment, so many of us are looking at alternative products that can help – so how about environmentally friendly scrubbies that can be used in the kitchen or as an exfoliating mitt in the bathroom? No plastic in these wee beauties!
On this half-day crochet workshop for beginners, led by Maïté Allwood from Knotty But Nice, you will learn the basic crochet techniques of single chain, double and half-treble stitch to create a flat fabric worked in rows.
You will create a small scrubby, a large scrubby, and a soap mitt using undyed Nutscene twine. All materials are provided and you will leave with your creations and the printed pattern you followed in class so you can carry on with crochet in your own time.
Price includes all materials, and refreshments. This is a half-day course, running between 9:30am and 1:30pm.
