Dalmore blossom honey is a light-coloured honey with an excellent flavour and texture. The honey is produced by bees in our apiary from nectar gathered from flora local to Dalmore, spring and summer flowers from our apple orchard, the wilds of Barry Buddon and local farms and gardens.
The different nectar sources vary the colour of honey, so our honey ranges from light golden to quite dark depending on the forage the bees have access to at the time they collected the nectar. A delicate, mild palate with a clear texture that coats the mouth, and a long sweet finish that bursts with fruit.
We only sell raw honey, it is lightly processed to ensure a smooth consistency.
This is clear honey, which may crystalise – if this happens simply place the jar in a bowl of warm water and the honey will eventually become clear again. We also sell soft-set honey.
